This is an original acrylic painting with hidden layers of collage beneath the surface of paint strokes. My process with this type of painting is very intuitive and I just let the creative juices flow and lead me where they are intended. Once this painting was finished it reminded me of the Superbloom phenomena which occurs here in California after an unusually wet winter (which we are currently experiencing).

This is the second painting of two in this series. I sold the first one before the varnish dried!

I add a couple of layers of UVL gloss varnish to seal in the layers below and to give a bit of sparkle and shine!
