This piece is very special to me. It is my first large (for me) abstract piece which represents all of the layers of my persona, thoughts, emotions, and even hidden desires. Therein you will discover my favorite colors; textures made with a variety of mark-making tools, and stencils create some of my treasured patterns (which are most often found in nature).

The surface is a birch cradled wood panel which was sanded and sealed with a Polymer sealant after which it was primed with gesso. Then the real fun began! Once the painting was finished, I added a coat of gloss acrylic varnish to keep everything snug and well protected.
